Some positive feedback from a well traveled GeoSIM customer.
I’m writing for two reasons. First - and foremost - I wanted to say thanks. I bought your service almost a year ago for a 9 month trip around the world. My trip was extensive, covering Africa, the Middle East, some of Asia, Australia, some of the USA, and South America! Today, I’m in La Paz, Bolivia, and tomorrow I’ll finally finish and return home to New York. I am, of course, pretty excited.
I thought your service was really great and especially liked that I had an easy and consistent way to text people I needed to. I did supplement with a few local sim cards in countries where I was staying for a while, but even then it was good to have a backup in case I needed to make a call and my prepaid amount ran out before I could buy a top-up. I have become a mini-travel agent for my friends and will certainly tell them about your service. Finally, I’d like say thanks as well to Ed Neal from customer support for having an unbelievably prompt response to everything and helping me with everything from forgotten passwords to a replacement chip.
Ok this isn’t an award acceptance speech, so I’ll cut things off there. Being a typical ‘tough’ customer, though, I’ll point out one final thing. The service doesn’t work in Bolivia. I see now on the web site that it’s not one of the covered countries, so I shouldn’t have been surprised.
